Broccoli Cauliflower Salad

A great way to get the fam to eat veggies, throw some bacon in it!  For reals tho, this broccoli cauliflower salad is a family favorite.  It’s an Amish dish which can easily help you to get 2 servings of veggies in at once sitting, it’s that good!

Ingredients:

  • 2 heads of broccoli (chopped)
  • 1 head cauliflower (chopped)
  • 1/2 lb bacon (cooked)
  • 1 cup shredded mexican cheese
  • 1/2 cup avocado mayonaise
  • 1/2 cup real sour cream
  • 1/4 cup organic sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Mix broccoli, cauliflower, bacon, and shredded cheese in a large bowl.
  2. In a small bowl, mix avocado mayonaise, sour cream, sugar, and salt until well combined.
  3. Pour mayonaise mixture over broccoli mixture and stir until well incorporated.  Eat immediately or chill until ready to serve.
