Homemade Italian Seasoning
Ever have that time where you KNOW you have the ingredient, because, well, it’s a staple in your house, then you go to grab it for your dinner recipe, and it’s….. GONE?!
Yeah, that happened. With italian seasoning! Like, who DOESN’T have this in their house? (If you don’t, you’re in luck now!)
So I whipped something up from scratch, and it was AMAZING!! Take a peek! You will LOVE this homemade italian seasoning!
Ingredients:
- ¼ cup cut and sifted rosemary.
- ½ cup dried basil
- ½ cup marjoram
- ½ cup oregano
- ¼ cup thyme
- 2 TBSP garlif powder (optional, especially if you cook with fresh garlic) I did not add this in mine, but you certainly can!
Instructions:
-
If your rosemary is whole, rather than cut, simply chop it in a food processor or with a mortar and pestle.
-
Combine all herbs in a jar and shake well to mix.
Notes
All spices called for in this recipe are dried.
Great in any Italian recipes such as eggplant Parmesan, chicken Parmesan, Meatza, grain free spaghetti, zucchini lasagna, salmon, etc.
