Healthy Protein Waffles!!

 

Ingredients:

2 cups whole wheat flour

2 tsp baking powder

2 tablespoons stevia

1 tbs olive oil

2 cups almond milk

3 eggs, separated

2 scoops vanilla protein powder

2 tsp vanilla

1 pinch salt

Any other protein source of your choice (PB2, nut butters, etc.)

 

Directions:

Combine the flour, baking powder, stevia, oil, almond milk, egg yolks, and any other optional protein source.

Beat the egg whites and salt until they stand in soft peaks, mix in the vanilla at this time and fold into the batter (do not over mix).

Pour mixture into a hot waffle iron and bake for about 2 minutes

Repeat with remaining batter.

Top with your favorite fruit.
