Biceps and Triceps

Working your arms, biceps and triceps here, is a great way to increase your strength and definition of your upper body.  Not only are you sculpting your arms, but by using weights, you’re increasing your metabolism, burning more fat, and burning more calories. The more muscle you have, the more calories you burn with traditional cardio.  And don’t worry ladies, you will not bulk up. 🙂

With each exercise, I increased the weight just a little bit between each set.  You can either stay the same weight all the way through OR challenge yourself and increase it as well.

Bicep curls, 3 sets of 15.  (I used 5s, 8s, and 10s.)

Single-weight tricep extensions, 3 sets of 15.  (I used an 8, 10, and 12 pound dumbbells.)

Bicep curls with barbell, 5 sets of 5 (GO HEAVY HERE!)  (I used 12.5 lbs all the way through.)

Skull crusher, 3 sets of 15.  (I used 7.5 lbs, 10 lbs, and 12.5 lbs.)

Single arm tricep extensions, 3 sets of 15.  ( I used 2.5, 5, and 8 pound dumbbells.)

Cortney Weiss

Hi!! My name is Cortney Weiss, I am a mom of 2 girls, 3 years apart, and with the same birthdays!! I've been married to my loving, godly husband for over 6 years, and I love health and fitness. I raise monarch butterflies year round which the girls love, and we all learn a lot from their life cycle, the good and the bad. It is my passion to help busy mommies become healthier and fit, work one-on-one with like-minded individuals, and help them to succeed in their health and fitness goals. I look forward to learning more about YOU and helping YOU to live a happier, healthier, fitter life. :)
