Fall is my FAVORITE season (well, right next to spring, with all the butterflies!) but I LOVE fall because all of the pumpkin pie spice stuff comes out!  I was in Sprouts the other day and saw this overflowing tower of pumpkin EVERYTHING!  Of course, naturally, my eyes soar directly to the tower and scout everything around it.  Oatmeal, chips, cereal, nut butters, cookies, beer…you name it, it was basically there, in PUMPKIN flavor!  And then I saw….the secret ingredient to these pumpkin pie spice energy bites!  Pumpkin spice almond butter!  Oh em goodness!!!  It was the best thing EVER!

Here is my secret recipe for the amazing pumpkin pie spice energy bites….


2 packets of pumpkin pie spice Shakeology (don’t have this, let’s chat!)

1/2 cup pumpkin spice almond butter

2 TBS pepitas, chopped

1/3 cup honey

1/4 cup raw oats

mini chocolate chips (save for last!)


Mix all ingredients together (excluding chocolate chips) and roll into little balls.  Makes 14-16 balls.  After you have all the pumpkin pie spice energy bites rolled into balls, poke in 5 mini chocolate chips into each ball (this helps with portion control of the chocolate chips)
